Frequently asked questions
I was an English major at Duke University, where I wrote for the Duke Chronicle. I had a summer scholarship to Catholic University to study journalism. I am in the Columbia Fiction Foundry.
I have worked with clients in a variety of industries, including non-profits, consumer durables, finance, beverages, and in particular, luxury hospitality. I am comfortable writing for both B2B and B2C audiences. Clients have included: Starwood Hotels, Twinings Teas, Cointreau, Sauza, Shaw Industries, Simmons Beautyrest, Orkin, and Carters. Nonprofit paying clients have included Chastain Horse Park, Tuesday’s Children, the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists Foundation (CSTEF) and Georgia Prevention Project.
My availability varies depending on the scope of the project and my current workload. However, I am committed to delivering high quality content in a timely manner and will work with clients to establish a realistic timeline for each project.
I work from a Statement of Work (SOW) that defines the nature of a project, which I craft with a client. A signed SOW is my fee and invoice. If the SOW changes, we adjust it and the fee accordingly, prior to continuation of the work. The SOW clarifies ownership and distribution of all content and fees associated with it, whether it is writing, photos, or videos. Contact me at AnnLally1@Gmail.com
